MISSION

​Medical Education Resources Unlimited (MERU) is dedicated to increasing the capacity of providers to care for infants, children, and adolescents in resource limited settings around the world by creating a community of providers dedicated to medical education.

VISION

All health care professionals will be equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and resources to effectively care for every ill or injured infant, child, and adolescent around the world.

VALUES

Capacity Building: We support local health care providers and clinical educators by sharing knowledge, developing clinical skills, and fostering sustainable educational systems in order for them to achieve their goals. By collaborating with our partners, we strengthen the foundations of pediatric care in resource-limited settings.
Cultural Compassion: We believe that medical education must be grounded in deep respect for cultural identities, values, and lived experiences. Our work is rooted in humility, collaboration, and a commitment to listen and learn from the communities with which we partner.
Equitable Care: Every child deserves access to high-quality health care—regardless of geography, income, or background. We advocate for and support efforts that reduce disparities and promote just, inclusive systems of care for infants, children, and adolescents.
Free Education: We are committed to providing open-access, high-quality educational materials and training—free of cost. We believe that financial barriers should never prevent a health care provider from gaining the knowledge and skills needed to save lives.
